Welcome to the Bova Family Chiropractic new patient page!
After we schedule your first appointment, we will email you the proper forms to fill out before coming into the office.
Once in the office, the doctor will look over all the information on the forms and you will sit down with the doctor and go through a thorough health history. It is important to get the entire picture of your health first. We will discuss health goals and any concerns that you may have. Then we will do an examination of your posture, spine, and a thermal scan of your nervous system. If x-rays are necessary, the doctor will send you out to get the proper imaging. Then the doctor will take all the information given at the first visit and create a personalized care plan for you moving forward.
At the second visit, this will be your report of findings. This will be where the doctor discusses all the findings with you from the history, exam, thermal scan, and x-rays if they were necessary. She will discuss a care plan with you and discuss financials. If the doctor feels like she can help you, then the first adjustment will be given.
We believe for the first adjustment that “less is more.” Every “body” is different, so we want to see how your body responds to the adjustment. We will give at home instructions and schedule a follow-up visit.
The initial visit can range from 45 minutes to an hour. Every visit after that ranges from 15-20 minutes.
